Arvind Kejriwal and his fake secularism

Two days back saw Kejriwal on TV talking against some Muslims converting to Hinduism. Arvind Kejriwal is in public life for more than 4 years now. When he is asked about any national issues like article 370 and Kashmir, religious conversions etc. his reply is that he is concerned only about corruption and he don't have any opinion on any other subject. He has kept quiet on news of people converting from Hinduism to Christianity and Islam because he thinks that people have freedom to choose their religion. But when some people used their freedom to choose religion to embrace Hinduism, suddenly Kejriwal is concerned and want government to enact a law to stop people from converting back to Hinduism. Why is Kejriwal so concerned now? It is because he have got order from his overseas bosses to stop people from converting to Hinduism?

Why should conversion from Hinduism to other religion be allowed and converting back to Hinduism from other religion banned?  Kejriwal is just working on instructions of his overseas bosses and expresses concern on everything on which his bosses are concerned. He is running his party on foreign money and is doing whatever it takes to please his bosses. People must vote him out in next election.

Why Baba Ramdev's income is exempted from Tax?

Few days back I was having discussion with my friends and issue of Baba Ramdev's wealth came up questions were raised way Baba Ramdev's wealth should be exempted from Income Tax. Before taking up the issue of exemption from Income Tax I would like to explain why government is allowed to impose Taxes on the people.

In a country where income is uniformly distributed government don't need to impose any Tax because government don't need to run social services like Free Schools, Free Hospitals etc. because all people can pay for their expanses and government can recover cost of providing services from users. Government need very little Tax in this case for the expanses of Army for protection of country.

I will discuss taxes imposed by the government one by one and discuss their purpose one by one.

Income Tax

In a country where 90% of total income is held by 9% of people and 9% of income is held by 90% of the people and 1% of people holding 1% of the income. 9% of the people are having income 10 time of national average (90%/9%) and 90% of people having income 1 tenth of national average income. It becomes government’s responsibility to provide Free Schools and Free Hospitals to 90% of the people. For doing this Government needs lots of funds. 10% of total national income will not be surplus. Government can't recover this cost from people who are having income 1 tenth of national average so government impose tax on 90% of the national income held of 9% of the rich people.

Imposing a tax of 10% on income above national average will yield 8.1% of national income because 9% of the income of richer 9% was exempted from Income Tax and only 81% of national income is taxed. In India where national average income is 20000 per year per person, average income of 9% of rich people comes to be around 2 Lakhs per year. But government is keeping tax free slab to 2.5 Lakhs per person for income tax. It is because in India income distribution is even more uneven and 1% of people are having 50% of total national income which is coming at 50 times of national average income (50%/1%). In India where average national income is 20,000 per year income of 1% of the richest people comes to be around 10 Lakhs per year.

As per current income tax rules income below 2.5 Lakhs is tax free, income above 2.5 Lakhs is taxed at 10% and Income above 5 Lakhs is taxed at 20%. The tax for 10 Lakhs comes to be around 1.25 Lakhs which is 12.5% for the income of richest 1% population of India. Taxing 50% of national income at 12.5% will yield 6.25% of total national income as Income Tax.

I would like to emphasis once again on fact that although this tax is not exorbitant from any standard the government is allowed to collect this tax only on promise that this money will be used in providing services to 90% of lesser privileged people of the country. If government can't do that it has no right to collect taxes. I will like to say once again that 1% of people holding 50% of total national income have their duty toward lesser privileged people of their country and must not resort to tax aversion on the pretext that government is corrupt. If a government is corrupt then why don't these 1% of the rich people start their own initiative to help poor people of the country?

Wealth Tax

When wealth distribution in the country is uneven and large amount of wealth is held by a very small people of the country then government resort to wealth tax. Here also principal of taxing richer people for welfare of poor people is applied and personal property of people having 50 times of national average property is taxed. Community property which belongs to thousands or lakhs of people is not taxed because per person property value is very less and does not come in taxable limits.

The purpose of this tax is to reduce disparity in society and government have right to collect this tax only for welfare of people.

In India Wealth Tax is imposed on property more than 30 Lakhs in term of Gold, or Immovable property where house tax is not applicable. Property where house tax is applicable is not counted towards Wealth Tax.

Inheritance Tax

This one of the illegal tax which is imposed by some countries to extort money from poor descendant of the property. If government thinks that property value was very high and needs to be taxed then it should be taxed as Wealth Tax and not at death of a person. If we assume that a new generation will take over property from older generation every 30 years then taxing inheritance at 30% will yield same result as taxing 1% per year as wealth tax.

Inheritance tax is inhuman in most of the situations. For example if a person receives a house in which he is living as inherited property. He will be forced to sell that house to pay Inheritance Tax.

In India inheritance tax was abolished in 1985.

Excise Duty

When government can't get enough money from Income and Wealth Tax due to high tax aversion and low tax rate then government resort to indirectly taxing spending of 1% rich people of the country. Excise duty is imposed on the goods manufactured in the country. Different commodities are taxed at different  rates luxury items like cars and cosmetics is taxed at higher rate and essential commodities are either tax free or taxed at very lower rate.

Here also I would like to stress on the fact that government is allowed to tax rich people only for welfare of poor people.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is imposed on sale of commodities for covering of deficit of tax collection from other taxes. Here also luxury items are taxed at higher rate and essential commodities like food grains, books is kept tax free.

Investment instruments are either tax free or taxed at a very low rate. Securities traded in stock exchange are taxed at rate of 0.1% and gold items are taxed at 1.01%.

Stamp Duty

Stamp Duty is imposed on items on which sale tax is not applicable like sale of house or land. Here also same principle of taxing low on investment instrument and essential commodities needs to be applied.

A house can be classified either an essential commodity or investment instrument and can never be classified as luxury items. But unfortunately government has resort to impose stamp duty of 10% on house purchase which is illegal from the point of justice. Maximum stamp duty which should be imposed on sales dead should be equal to sale tax on gold which is 1.01%.

House Tax

House tax is imposed on people for up keeping of services like sanitation of the locality. It is more of a service charge than a tax. It is imposed for services which is provided to payer of the tax rather than for the welfare of poor people.

Water and Electricity charges

Water and Electricity charges the levied on people for up-keeping of facilities which people are consuming.

Exemptions

There are some exemptions granted when people spend money directly on the purpose for which government is collecting tax. In that case any money given to organization who are spending their money on welfare of people is exempted from income tax because government have no right to tax money spent on providing medical facilities. That is why any money donated to organizations involved in providing medicines and education to poor people is exempted from income tax under section 80G.

These organizations who work for welfare of people also need to build some physical assets which are having monetary value from money received as donation for purpose of providing services to poor people. If I want to provide medical facilities to 10 lakh people I can't do it from one 10x10 room. I will have to purchase land and build a big hospital for doing that. I need to do all this from money received as donation for providing free medical facilities to people because I am building these assets for providing facilities to poor people and I don't see any reason why donation money used for purchasing land and building hospital for providing medicines to poor people to be taxable.

If the organization running hospital for poor people also runs a small business of producing medicines and spend all income received from that business for welfare of poor people then I see no reason why that income should taxed.

Baba Ramdev is running an organization which is involved in providing free medical facilities to lakhs of people. For doing that he had to purchase land and build hospitals. He runs a small business of selling medicines and profit made by this business is donated to hospital run by Baba Ramdev for welfare of poor people. I don't see any reason why his income should not be tax free.

It is not that money made by teaching yoga is tax free and money made teaching aerobics is taxable. It is based on what the money received is spent. If it is spent on someone's personal pleasure then it is taxable and if it is spent on social welfare of people it is tax free.

Some people say stat Baba Ramdev is having property worth 1000 crore and if he had made 1000 crore then he should have paid tax of 300 crore also. I would like to say that this property belongs to the social welfare organization which Baba Ramdev is running and it is not Baba Ramdev's personal property. This property is required for providing free services to poor people and without this property services to poor people cannot be provided.

People disturbed my sleep on 31st December by burning crackers at midnight and police did not do anything

I was sleeping peacefully at my house on night of 31st December 2014 and when I was in sound sleep I was woken up by heavy sound of crackers. It was 12:00 o'clock in midnight. Who allowed people to burn crackers in midnight and disturb my sleep?

I remembered that 2 months back police published a warning in newspapers that anybody burning crackers after 10:00 PM and disturbing people's sleep will be arrested. Environmentalists were crying against pollution being created by firecrackers and urging people not to burn crackers. But on 31st December 2014 neither police nor environmentalists were doing anything. Why?

Does it have anything to do with fact that 2 months back when people were concerned  for right of sleep in night, firecracker were burnt to mark a Hindu festival and on 31st December 2014 firecracker were burnt to mark Christen new year? I think yes it is the reason that is why all environmentalists have gone silent and police is also silent. Why police is not upholding the law that burning crackers after 10:00 PM is a crime? Why social activist are not protesting against police's inaction?

Review of movie PK

I watched movie PK on 23rd December 2014 on a team outing. I feel compelled to write a review of the story and message it was conveying.

Movie start with Amir Khan as a alien who does not know anything about this world. His mental state is just like a 3 year old boy who believes everything he is told by others. He is told by people that paying a Mandir will get him his remote control back so he prayed at Mandir. He is told that praying at Gurdwara will get him his remote control back so he prayed at Gurdwara. He is told that paying at Masjid will get his remote control back so he prayed at Masjid.

Later on Amir Khan became intelligent and social reformer and come to know that praying at Mandir is wrong and no one should pray at Mandir and people constructing temples and praying at temples are either fool or fraud. He goes to temple to get his money back from god because god did not get his work done. Why Amir Khan did not go to Masjid also to get his money back from Alah because his work is not done? Why he targeted Mandirs only? Does it have something to do with fact that Amir Khan himself is a Muslim? I think yes it have everything to do with him being Muslim.

Amir Khan started a TV program against construction of temples because as per him people constructing temple are villain. There is a villain in this movie, he is called Tapasviji. Villain Tapsviji have the following bad thing:

1.    He is motivating people to donate money for construction of a temple.
2.    He is saying that producing and consuming cigarette is bad.
3.    He is saying that consuming liquor is bad.
Amir Khan and one other social reformer (Jaggu) is fighting against the social evil Tapasviji is spreading. Jaggu is shown drinking a bottle of intelligence enhancing drink (liquor) and Amir Khan who knows everything what is right and wrong is not saying to her that instead of buying this intelligence enhancing drink she could have donated food to some poor child and that would have be better. Amir Khan did not leave an opportunity to say that people should donate money to poor people instead of donating money to temples.

Why Amir Khan (PK who is a social reformer now) did not have courage to say that people should donate money for welfare of poor people instead of buying intelligence enhancing drinks. 10 times more money gets spent on intelligence enhancing drink compared to money being spent on religious purpose. Why social reformer PK was concerned about money being spent on religious purpose and that too only of Hindus?

I have seen people distributing food and clothes to poor people at Temple. I have never seen people distributing food to poor people outside shop of intelligence enhancing drink. It shows that people who believe in god are kindhearted and believe in giving to society. Why should a social reformer PK (Amir Khan) direct all his energy on removing idol worship (which is evil as per Islam) and not say anything about practice of spending money on intelligence enhancing drink?

Another thing which is shown in movie is that a Pakistani man is best lover that an intelligent Indian girl can get. I don't understand how an Indian girl can think of marrying a man for whom terrorists who kill innocent Indians are hero. This movie says that an Indian girl should marry a Pakistani boy if he is handsome and should not think about his Indian brothers being killed by brothers of this Pakistani boy. It is not right.

Now I talked about ending of the movie. In the end it is shown that father of the girl stops worshiping god and start drinking intelligence enhancing drink and it is happy ending as per Amir Khan. As per me it is not happy ending at all.

In the end will like to say that I am do the following things which are characteristics of a villein as per Amir Khan but I am proud to do and will keep doing:
1.    I do donate and motivate people to donate money for construction of a temple.
2.    I say that producing and consuming cigarette is bad.
3.    I say that consuming liquor is bad.

Is begging for one's wife's luxuries good or bad?

Yesterday I saw a movie called "PK" with my colleagues. This movie was really bad and was made with intentions to portray Hinduism in bad light. But that is not agenda of this post so I will defer that discussion to another post.

In this post I want to discuss a particular scene and my take on that. In this movie an old man comes to Amir Khan and begs 500 rupee on the pretext that his wife is ill and he need to get her admitted to hospital. Amir Khan is having special power that he can read anybody's mind by holding his hand, so he comes to know that he had taken his wife to a five star hotel for a dinner and his wife had ordered ice cream after dinner and his budget overshot so he left her on pretext of going to loo and came out to beg money strangers so that he can pay the bill of five star hotel. Amir Khan gave him 500 rupee and 100 rupee extra for tip.

Had I been in place of Amir Khan, I would have told this person who is begging for his wife's five star dinners that he should have told his wife that he can't afford ice cream instead of begging strangers for money. Begging for your wife or girlfriend's luxuries is worst thing a person can do. I will never beg for five star dinners for my wife.

Surprisingly when I told my opinion to my colleagues, they were angry with me, they told me that I have not right to say negative things about a person who is begging for noble cause of five star dinner for his wife or girlfriend. If I can't help such a great person then I should say sorry to him but never say any bad words about such persons. As per them a true husband is the one who can beg for five star dinners for his wife, if someone can't beg for his wife's five star dinner then it means that he doesn't love his wife.

I don't agree with my colleagues, as per me true love is based on trust and respect. Loosing self-respect for a woman (please note that I am not using the word wife) is because of lust and not for love. Love doesn’t decrease sense of self-respect but increase it. Had beggar be in true love with his wife, he would have faith in his wife that she will respect his limitations in terms of financial resources if he would have told his wife that they can't have ice cream after dinner in five star hotels. This beggar did not have faith in his wife's love but had a fear of diminishing look his wife would have given her if he would have said that his budget did not allow ice cream after dinner in five start hotel. That is why he chose to get insulted by strangers rather than getting insulted by his own wife. I don't see any love in this behavior.

In the same movie "PK" there was a dialog where Sanjay Dutt said that "MAN, AADMI, HARAMI and KUTTA" mean same thing. I did not agree to Sanjay Dutt that time but after discussion with my colleagues I think that I might have to change my opinion.

Rajdeep Sardesai attacks NRIs in USA

First time I met Rajdeep Sardesai was a few months back when he came as an expert opinion when me and some of my friends were discussing about Indian politics. He told us that we should vote for Arvind Kejriwal because he only can remove corruption from India and we should not vote for Narender Modi. I told him that I can't vote for a person who give clean chit to a company (TATA) caught in 2G scam in Buradi Maidan raily. Luckily his floor (1st floor) came and he left without abusing me or beating me but our friend NRI in USA was not that lucky.

First thing is that Rajdeep Sardesai think he alone is intelligent person and everyone must listen to him and speak what he want them to speak and if someone doesn't do that then he abuses them. That is why he interfered in our friendly conversation in which we all were having equal right and putting forward our views. He considered it to be his right to jump into someone else's conversation and give his politically motivated advice to us. Same thing he did in USA. He called people who deferred with him below class as you can see from this video.

Rajdeep Sardesai has strong political affiliation with Congress and Aam Admi Party and he is forwarding their agenda. Rajdeep Sardesai was asking people their opinion about 30% people who voted against Narender Modi and wanted people to say that only those 30% were intelligent and 70% people who voted for Modi were fools. But people did not say that but criticized Rajdeep Serdesai on his face. After this Rajdeep Serdesai went ahead and said that Modi was responsible for post Godhera riot in response to that he was told that Narender Modi has been given clean chit by Supreme Court of India and Rajdeep Serdesai is not an authority over Supreme Court.

Rajdeep Sardesai went ahead and asked people about who paid for their flight ticket. He was trying to prove that trip of people was sponsored by someone else. I have first-hand information that Rajdeep Sardesai's favorite party Aam Admi Party is paying 300 rupee per day to its so called volunteers. Why Rajdeep Sardesai never asked question that why volunteers are being paid money? And what is source of this money? Regarding that it is said that some right thinking rich people have donated money for poor volunteers and same money is being distributed to volunteers. If some right thinking rich people can donate money for AAP's volunteers that why can some right thinking BJP supporters donate money for tickets of Modi supporters. Rajdeep Sardesai's agenda can be seen from this clip.

When Rajdeep Sardesai was unable to carry his propaganda he started calling people gathered there as lower class and assholes which you can see from the below clipping when the victim called him back asshole Rajdeep Sardesai went ahead to beat him. This person was saved by his fellow gentlemen. No one assaulted Rajdeep Sardesai. It is clearly evident from this clipping.

For details of Rajdeep Sardesai's carrier and his rise please see the following video.

UPSC Exam Row

A government employee who understands only English and does not understand Hindi is worse than an illiterate because he can't understand language of common people whom he is supposed to serve. We need a government employee who can understand people. They need to understand English also as secondary skill and not their main skill. The main skill need to be knowledge of regional language because it helps in serving people better.

We need to remember that government employees are there to serve people and not rule them like in British time. If government employee needs to learn 2 or 3 languages to qualify for a IAS post then they better learn them, because government is paying money for their skills. So why government is giving special importance to a language which is spoken and understood only by 2% people? If knowledge of English is required than we can hire translator for that. We don't make Japanese language a mandatory language just because we need to have trade with Japan. If hiring translator looks expensive then we can hire people with multiple language skills. For purpose of being a good administrator English language is not a mandatory skill.

Currently admission in B.Sc., B.Tech, and many other courses are being granted based on marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and this scheme is producing good engineers. I don't think adding a compulsory English paper will improve quality of engineers. It will degrade quality of engineers because people knowing good English and bad knowledge of science will get higher ranking if English is made a compulsory part of exam and marks are counted in merit.
