Interpretation of Supreme Court Judgement

Today Supreme Court observed that auction is not the only way to allocate natural resources. Media and congress is projecting it in a totally opposite way than it was intended.

Supreme court observed that it not governments aim to make maximum profit from natural resources but to make natural resources available to people of India at reasonable cost and the reasonable profit if made from sale of natural resources must be used for public good. Auctioning a natural resource actually make resource expensive for end user. But it does not mean that government can allocate natural resources cheap to companies and allow them to make exorbitant profits by exploiting end user. If government allocates natural resources by means other than auction then there must be a clause which will govern maximum price of this natural resource to end user.

Congress government has allocated natural resources to companies at very low price and allowed them to sell it at maximum price which they can sell it. This is illegal and court has not declared it to be legal. Court have observed that auction as a method of allocating natural resources is also not above judicial scrutiny, and it can be challenged in court.

The media and congress is trying to misled people to break their moral by saying that Supreme Court have accepted government's stand.

Bharat Band today against allowing FDI in retails. What champions of honesty and supporter of Lokepal doing?

Today Bharat Band is organized against opening up FDI in retail sector which will lead to unemployment and poverty of masses. It may beneficial for few real estate dealers but it will led to poverty of India. Same thing was with British rule in India it was benefiting a few Indians and was leading to poverty of masses and the few people who were benefited by British rule were trying to save British rule in India. Today also people who have any hope of getting benefited by FDI in retails are supporting it even if it leads to poverty of masses. Surprisingly these people are educated and having money and are supporter of Lokpal to remove corruption. Is supporting something which benefits them and harm masses not corruption? Should Lokepal not investigate into that?

Lala Lajpat Rai had correctly remarked in INTRODUCTION written for Lala Har Dayal's Book Our Educational Problem in 1922 that "the so-called educated man is more effective a hindrance to our progress in political freedom than his uneducated brother."

This sentence is applicable now also. So called educated and cultured man are more effective an hindrance on freedom and prosperity of India than the uneducated people in India and these people project and believe that they are a big asset to India. These people have formed a pressure group under leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and declared that all power in India should be transferred to people having IIT degrees and Awards of honesty  given by international organizations interested in uplift of India and no power and authority should be left with representatives of poor uneducated people of India because these people don't know what is right and wrong. The proof of their lack of intellect is that when IIT graduate and winner of international awards of intelligence and honesty Arvind Kejriwal hold a meeting to replace Prime minister of India with him, these illiterate people don't bother to come to his support. These educated people believe that illiterate people of India should not have voting rights and IIT graduates should have 10,000 votes.  This is the only way certified honest and intelligent people can become master of destiny of India.

Should these so called educated and honest people be allowed to fulfill their personal interest by pushing masses of India into poverty?

Amithabh Bachan promote alcohol and discourage reading books

I was watching "Kon Banega Krorepati" on Sun 16th September 2012 and one of the candidate said that he came to know about answer to the questions by reading books and not by watching movies. This comment angered Amitabh Bachan and he did not try to hide his anger and expressed it. The contestant was afraid of getting disqualified from KBC and said that he likes watching Amitabh Bachchan's movies.

In previous session Amitabh Bachan dedicated 10 minutes to praise Sakshi Tanwar's scene in a serial in which she was so drunk that she could not know difference between Sofa and Bed and slept on Sofa instead of Bed. Amitabh Bachan told the audience that Sakhi Tanwar was looking more beautiful in that scene than any other scene. That time channel was not even running message that opinions expressed by people is personal and channel don't subscribe to those opinion. But when contestant was saying that he reads newspaper rather than watching movies channel was running a message that opinion expressed are personal and channel don't subscribe to that.

Amithabh Bachchan thinks that a woman looks beautiful only when she is drunk! This praise of drinking was not required and was not related to any question of KBC but Amitabh Bachchan always find an opportunity to praise alcoholism. He doesn’t allow any contestant to say that they prefer reading newspapers to increase their knowledge.

Shame on people who think such a person is a national hero!

Why prostitution must not be legalized in India?

Today I am re posting my facebook note which I wrote on March 9, 2012

Jasvant Singh March 9, 2012
Recently I read an article by Sapna Khanna in “HT Shoppers” which talks about advantages of legalizing prostitution in India.  She claims that sex crimes will be stopped by legalizing prostitution. She thinks that she knows about the subject and she should share her knowledge with world but she is actually sharing her ignorance and stupidity with the world.

Sapna Khanna claims to know about effects of prostitution worldwide and claims that cities where prostitution is legalized sexual crimes are low. It is not true, actually sexual crimes are higher in the cities where prostitution is legalized.  It clearly shows she don't know about real effects of legalizing prostitution.

Let me give you real picture of legalized prostitution:

1.) Once prostitution is legalized, cars will stop seeing any beautiful girl walking on the road and some person will get out of the car and offer a high paying job in his brothel.

2.) Big corporate houses will invest in Brothels and all beautiful women working as receptionist, Human resources, Finances will be harassed to force them to leave their jobs to provide quality manpower to brothel industry.

3.) Government promotes prostitution with help of police because it gets good money as tax from this industry. Any resistance shown by local communities against setting up a brothel will be dealt strictly. Many people who oppose brothel will be put behind bars.

4.) There will be hording of brothels put on all major roads; Advertisements of brothel will be put on taxis plying in the city. This is the scene in all the cities where prostitution is legalized.

5.) Consensual sexual relationship between boys and girls will suffer because girls will be satisfying their sexual needs in brothels serving older and richer guys. Young men will not have access to sex because they can’t pay charges plus entertainment tax of brothel. It will lead to sexual frustration and these men will take up crimes like burglary, murder, kidnap etc. to get money for brothel.  These men would have satisfied their sexual need from girls as girlfriends who would have not be working as prostitutes in brothels had prostitution not been legalized.

6.) Legalizing prostitution will make basic necessity like sex unaffordable and people will have to pay for something like sex which they should get for free.

7.) Government and Big corporates will make money by exploiting both prostitutes and their customers.  Customers will be charged high fee for sex and prostitutes will be charged high rent for space used by prostitutes for providing sexual service.  Countries where prostitution is legalized there are cases where prostitute accumulate so much debt to brothel because of room rent that she need to file for bankruptcy. Effectively customer loses money and prostitutes also lose money. Young boys are sexually frustrated.

8.) Boys know that girls in their city are working as prostitutes and not entertaining their advances because they want them to pay for sex.  These boys who don’t have money will resort to either rape or some other crimes like robbery to satisfy their sexual needs.

9.) World over in cities where prostitution is legalized. There is high crime rates in these cities because people make money by crime to satisfy their fundamental need of sex which is available in brothels only.

It is like British government imposing tax on salt the basic need of people. Some people who used to produce salt will produce it as usual and people who used to consume salt will consume it as usual but government will make money and people will be poorer. Same thing is with legalizing prostitution and taxing it.

Is corruption a bigger issue then alcoholism ?

Here I am re posting my facebook note which I wrote on November 23, 2011

Jasvant Singh November 23,2011
Today people who used to says that Anna Hazare is above parliament are saying that Anna Hazare is suffering from Schizophrenia and need to be treated in a Mental Asylum. What have happened? What have changed? Why media people changed their mind so suddenly?

The reason is that Anna Hazare support government to stop sale and consumption of alcohol in India in a very strong way. He want this to even stronger then Lokpal Bill. He has his own ideas about how alcoholism can be stopped. His views on alcoholism are very similar to his view about corruption. Why are people supporting his views on corruption and opposing his views on alcoholism? Is this because Ford Foundation is funding his views on corruption but is against his views on alcoholism?

Let us analyses the issues and their impact in details.

It is said that corruption is bigger issue because it is leading to slowdown in our growth rate by 1.5%. If that is the case then why are ignoring issue of alcoholism which is slowing down our growth rate by 2% ? I will explain how I reached at figure of 2% later on.

My question is why people are interested in one issue and ignoring all other issues. People are just being carried away by media to believe in whatever they want people to believe. Media is controlled by big money, most of channels and newspapers are run by Multinational companies. People with big money want to have Lokpal appointed by NGO running on foreign fund to be above parliament and don't want to stop alcoholism. That is way people who speak against alcoholism are fools (Schizophrenic to be precise).

Let us now compare gravity of problem of corruption and alcoholism, what national loss both of them are leading to, their scale and impact on national growth.

Let us take alcoholism first. We need to take into total money which is spent on alcohol in India into account. Is this figure larger than money paid in bribes in India?
Yes it is larger than money paid in bribes.

How many times is money spent on alcohol is of money given as bribes in India?
It it at least 4-5 time of the money given as bribes in India.

If it is true then how come alcoholism is a second issue to corruption?

It is said that corruption is bigger issue because people have to pay bribe out of their hard earned money and because of that people can't spend money on their real needs like food, shelter and education of children.
Is real need of people drinking alcohol taken care of by liquor companies? Why are we are not bothered about people who have to live without food, shelter or education because their father, husband or brother is addicted to alcohol?

Again it is said that people should take care of themselves and government have no responsibility of getting people out of addiction. Here I would like to talk about government action regarding Firecrackers in big cities. Government have banned sale of Firecrackers in whole city except from designated areas. Shopkeepers are given license to sale only limited stock and only for limited period. Government plan to bring down number of Firecracker's licenses and amount of Firecrackers sold in city every year.

Why is government not leaving it to peoples discretion what Firecrackers to burn and how many to burn and when to burn? Why is government trying to curb firecracker industry?  Answer is that government is doing it for welfare of people. Why same theory does not apply to alcoholism?

Regarding alcoholism government have taken a altogether opposite stand. If government find a village with no liquor shop it gives a license to open a liquor shop in that village by take 10 Lakhs as license fee and 20 Lakhs as bribe. After this villagers start demonstrating against liquor shop. Police comes into action and some 50 people are detained by police and beaten up in police Thana. No human right activist comes forward to speak against that because some 10 Lakhs are paid to police and 10 Lakhs to media and human right activists.

To keep law an order in village a PCR van is placed permanently at liquor shop to protect owner and consumer of liquor. Such sincerity police never show when people demand police patrolling in a specific area because of increasing crimes. This PCR van is there on expanse of tax payer’s money.

Government is planning to increase number of liquor shops and number of bottles sold every year. Liquor is reducing physical and mental health of people. People who consume alcohol are not able to study or work to their actual ability for some time. Many people dies because of accident resulting because of liquor if we consider loss of GDP which occurred due to their death then loss will be much higher.

50% of corruption and bribes paid in India is by liquor companies and liquor shop owner to keep running liquor business and robe people of India. If we ban liquor in India then 50% of corruption will vanish without even implementing Lokpal. I am with Anna Hazare on this although Team Anna does not agree.

Is India Heading the Nepal way?

Today I am posting one of my facebook note which I published on November 10, 2011. The apprehensions which I had about Team Anna had been proved to be too true.  I thought of publishing it on my blog so that everyone have access to it.

Jasvant Singh November 10, 2011
Now a day a lot of new development is going on in India. A new pressure group headed by Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhusan has come up in India’s politics which think that they are above parliament of elected representatives of Indian people. Team Anna (Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhusan) calls all elected representative of Indian people incapable.

Today what we are seeing in India is very similar to what happened in Nepal 15 years back. If we don’t realize what is happening in our country then democracy can vanish from India and we can become slave to China the way Nepal has become.

Let us see what happened in Nepal:
1.)    An anti-corruption movement was started by some china supported NGOs. People of Nepal supported that movement because people of Nepal were very frustrated with corruption. At that time there was limited democracy in Nepal, there was a parliament of elected representative of people which was looking into day to day affair of Nepal which was overseen by King of Nepal.

2.)    Anti-corruption movement leaders declared that all elected representatives of Nepal were corrupt and all right thinking people of India should throw these elected representative and King out of Nepal and create a new government in Nepal with honest leaders of anti-corruption movement.

3.)    Anti-corruption movement started in full swing in Nepal supported by China money and unsatisfied educated youth of Nepal who were misled by anti-corruption movement to believe that reason of their plight was government of Nepal is headed by corrupt representative of uneducated and incapable people. These elected representatives are creating wealth for themselves and their uneducated and incapable supporters. Educated, intelligent and capable people are being neglected by these elected representatives and the King.

4.)    Unemployed and dissatisfied employed people of Nepal started believing that by uprooting corrupt elected representatives of Nepal they will get benefited.

5.)    These anti-corruption leaders held large demonstration in Kathmandu and other important cities of Nepal. People of Nepal did not realize that a large number of people in these demonstrations are not from common public but people hired by these anti-corruption leaders with china money. These anti-corruption leaders held Kathmandu hostage for many days.

6.)    King of Nepal tried to control the situation by dissolving the parliament and promising to hold a new election. Anti-corruption movement leader declared that they don’t want another corrupt parliament.  King should let honest leader of anti-corruption movement to head the government without election. King refused this demand.

7.)    By this time these anti-corruption movement leaders were able to form a large army of cadre which was ready to take on any civilian or government opposing them.

8.)    There was fight between these anti-corruption movement supported by foreign money and arms and Army of Nepal King. King was not interested in killing his own people but to make them realize that this so called anti-corruption movement is really aggression of agents of a foreign country against freedom of Nepal. But it was too for the people of Nepal. The people who took up arms and were involved many violent attach on army and government department could not return because of threat of their old associates killing them. They were forced work against their own country because they were trapped.

9.)    Many Chinese sympathizers were invited by these anti-corruption leaders to join them. This resulted in more threat to people who realized their mistake and wanted to return back to old democracy days.

10.) These anti-corruption leaders formed a Maoist party in Nepal and declared that they will not allow any election to be held unless they are sure that they are winning. An interim government was formed in Nepal without election with old elected representatives and Maoist leaders joining the government. These Maoist leaders were always fighting with elected representatives and not allowing them to work.

11.) Many time Maoist (ex anti-corruption movement) leaders held Kathmandu hostage to force elected representatives to hand over vital administrative functions like Police to be handed over to Maoist.

12.) It was too late for people to realize what mistake they have done supporting anti-corruption movement.

13.) Today we know that people of Nepal don’t have any say in government’s working. They can’t cast their vote freely. There is always a constant threat of violence by Maoist if anybody dares to speak against them.

Now let us see what is happening in India:
1.)    Foreign powers financed some NGOs promoted by people like Arun Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhusan. These people started working for welfare of people and against corruption. These people worked very selectively regarding corruption and exposed only the corruption which worked against big MNCs. They were always silent about corruption which worked in favor of big MNCs.

2.)    These MNCs contributed to NGOs promoted by these anti-corruption agents which are ready to do campaigning for their masters any time. These MNCs used these anti-corruption agents for blackmailing Indian politician and officials. These MNCs threatened them if they don’t award them permission or contract then they will be exposed and if they do then they will be given money and immunity from exposer of their corruption. Many people falls in line but many did not.  Promoters of these NGOs who are working for their masters were given money, international recognition, awards etc. by their foreign masters.

3.)    This money is used by these NGOs in hiring most expansive corporate campaign managers for promoting them. They also hired goons for beating people who speak against them. They ran a big campaign for a law which will put an appointed person (Lokpal) above elected representatives of people.  This Lokpal will be selected by a committee where 95% members will not be elected representatives because elected representatives can be corrupt or may be influenced by incapable electorate of India. The committee responsible for drafting the law must include people supported by outside India NGOs and elected representative will be there to just advise and not to make decision. Selection committee for Lokpal also must include people supported by foreign NGOs was major demand in JanLokpal draft. It says that along with Chief Justices, Bharat Ratan winner there should be people who have won megasese award winner in selection committee. Why meggaseses award winners? Who gives megaseses award ? On what criteria this award is given? How do people of India make sure that it is not given to anti-indian? In fact most of the time it is given to anti-indian only.

4.)    The fundamental difference between Democracy and Dictatorship is that in Democracy new people are not chosen by outgoing members of government but by people of the country. The new elected members can change all the policies of government and even take action against members of previous government. In Dictatorship outgoing team decides who will be member of new team, they chose only people who are aligning with interest of the outgoing team. While we have Democracy in parliament Dictatorship model is being followed in Administration.  New IAS/IPS officials are selected by old IAS/IPS; new Justices of courts are selected by old Justices of courts. There is rampant favoritism in the selection process.

5.)    In last 60 years Parliament is trying to take away powers of doing wrong things and making money from Bureaucrats and placing the responsibilities with Ministers. These bureaucrats are coming from a class who is educated because their parent hired expensive teachers, books and schools for them. These educated people who are of sub normal intelligence except their privileged background feels that they have right to rule of the uneducated people.  These bureaucrats are dissatisfied because now there power to rule over the country is being taken away by people elected by uneducated (hence incapable) people of India. They want to establish their supremacy over elected representatives of people and thus supremacy over uneducated (because of being unprivileged) people of India.

6.)    First fast of Anna Hazare was supported by India’s privileged class only. It was a movement of Lawers, Ex-Justices, Ex-IPS/IAS officials joined by serving IAS and IPS. A big campaign was being run on Facebook, Twitter and media channels to project it as a big movement supported by masses. These people (Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhusan) hired a big corporate campaign manager for doing it. This campaign manager was having a big team of people constantly putting comments and status updates from many different accounts on Facebook and Twitter. These people were constantly putting comments on various news sites to make it look like a big movement.

7.)    Government submitted to pressure by this privileged class and made a core committee to form the draft for Lokpal Bill. Surprisingly elected members of parliament were absent from the team. Team Anna declared that they are the sole representative of people of India and so government should talk to them only. No elected representative of people was invited not even from opposition. How come Team Anna thought that a team of 5 unelected people will represent people of India? One member of team had to leave because of corruption charges against him.

8.)    Baba Ramdev started a parallel movement against the government which was joined by Anna Hazare also. This movement became so powerful and so many people joined that government could even think of dealing with it in daylight. Police broke upon supporter of Baba Ramdev at 1:30 in night when whole India was asleep and could not react. Police used tear gas and lathies on Baba Ramdev’s supporter. It is said that Baba Ramdev himself was beaten up by police before letting him go. Baba Ramdev wore a woman suite not to flee from Delhi but to hide injury mark. How can a woman suite help Baba Ramdev with a large beard flee from Delhi? People of India were shocked to hear atrocity done by police on people in Ramlila Maidan. This kind of atrocity I have not heard of being done except of emergency in India. People thought that emergency days are there to return so people decided to fight back. Unfortunately Baba Ramdev did not dare to return because of beating he received in Delhi.

9.)    Anna Hazare took this as an opportunity to come to limelight. He declared his fast and police had to arrest him because they wanted to show to people that they treat Anna Hazare and Ramdev same way. People took up this incidence to stood up against government and protect democracy in India. This uprising was a combination of natural reaction and systematic campaign run by Team Anna (Prashant Bhusan, Kiran Bedi and Avind Kejriwal) with the help of media. I heard even radio anchors asking people to come on roads to support Anna Hazare. How can a radio anchor do such thing without instructions from his boss? It shows that money was being used to influence the media. Thousands of people who demonstrated were paid employees. This whole show ran with help of paid demonstrators and media which managed to get unsuspecting Indian people involved in this movement.

10.) Government decided to release Anna Hazare but Team Anna forced him to stay in Jail because it helps in spreading the news that government is not actually releasing him but just spreading false news to break the movement. Rallies were held at Tihar Jail to demand release of a person who was released by government but was refusing to go. Free food, water and transportation were provided to demonstrators by unknown supporters of the movement. Does it not prove that it was a sponsored movement?

11.) I happen to hear firsthand account from the people who visited Ramlila Maidan. They told me that free water, food etc. was being provided at Ramlila Maidan. If same thing happen at political rally then we call that rally a demonstration by paid supporters then why we don’t call the people who were present at Ramlila Maidan paid supporters? Who was footing the bill of free food and water? It is said that it was coming from the money voluntarily donated by the supporters. Is it believable? When a political party says the same thing about expanses of a rally why don’t we believe? Why people were interested in paying donation and not paying for their own food and water? Strange isn’t it?

12.)  When it was seen by Team Anna (Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhusan) that attendance at demonstration is thin and they were not getting done what they aimed for, they decided to use their goons to threaten elected representatives of people. 5 MPs were house arrested by goons of Team Anna. These goons must have been at least 1000 in number even if we assume that a large number of supporters were unsuspecting common people.

13.) This was the first time that Maoist forces have challenged freedom of elected people in broad daylight in cities. Why these anti-corruption leader have no respect for freedom of expressions of anyone outside Team Anna (Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhusan). If elected MPs who have protection of police can be threatened by Team Anna goons then think about what they will do to common people speaking against them. This situation is very similar to point number 5 in case of Nepal.

14.) These Team Anna members (Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhusan) declared that they are above parliament. If fact Team Anna was formed by people who believed that they are above parliament and now they are openly saying it. Team Anna was formed by Maoist Supporters, Sympathizers of Kashmiri Separatists and ex- bureaucrats who all believe that they are above people of India.

15.) After this incidence stature of Team Anna increased so much that their foreign masters started giving them more money to support their interests. These Team Anna members started doing what they had been doing for their masters in past also openly because now government can’t put hands on  them. Prashant Bhusan started campaigning for plebiscite in Kashmir. Arvind Kejriwal started supporting political candidates for making money. He was also supported by his hired goons who were used by him in taking 5 MPs hostages. Kiran Bedi started giving lectures about how educated and privileged class will benefit from Team Anna’s increased status in Indian politics. Now people of privileged class need not fear representatives of unprivileged and uneducated class anymore Team Anna is there to defend them.

16.) Prashant Bhusan’s statements draw strong reaction from Bhagat Shing Kranti Sena. It was represented in media as attack on honest people by government sponsored goons. Actually it was a natural reaction of right thinking people to attack on our nation by an ISI agent. No one in Team Anna criticized Prashant Bhusan’s remark. Even Anna Hazare did not dare to speak against Prashant Bhusan’s remark. The people who spoke against Prashant Bhusan were asked to leave. Anna Hazare went on Maun-Vrat his authorized blogger kept on writing about Anna Hazare’s commitment about India’s unity. Kiran Bedi was caught cheating on her expanses. Arvind Kejriwal did not listen to anybody in team who asked him not to campaign for a corrupt politician. All people except Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhusan wanted to dissolve Team Anna and reconstitute it but it looks like that Prashant Bhusan is bigger personality than Anna Hazare and have Veto right over Anna Hazare and stopped dissolution of Team Anna.

17.) Even Anna was asked for an explanation for his stand against Prashant Bhusan’s statement. Anna Hazare’s stand diminished importance of Prashant Bhusan’s statement and it is not acceptable to Team Anna. Now the official blogger of Anna Hazare is removed from his position because he did not seek mandatory approval of Prashant Bhusan before publishing Anna Hazare’s view. To stop chances of further instances of Anna Hazare expressing his view without censoring by Prashant Bhushan the blog have been discontinued so that the only channel by which Anna Hazare can talk to world is Prashant Bhusan, Arvind Kejriwal or Kiran Bedi.

All these things shows that Team Anna (Prashant Bhusan, Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi) want to capture power without need of seeking votes from people because according to them people of India are incapable and unable to make right decision because of their limited intellect. These people don’t have any respect for Anna Hazare and his views also and at every instance he is asked to go back on his statements and honest supporters of Anna Hazare are not allowed to work in anti-corruption movement. It is clear by removal of Raju (Official blogger of Anna Hazare). These people are doing anti-national activities openly with help of their hired goon and foreign media. Prashant Bhusan and Megha Patkar are involved in anti-India propaganda which is supported by ISI money. Kiran Bedi and Kejriwal’s have formed a big force of goons who are ready to beat up anybody who speak against them this was proved by taking 5 MPs hostage at the time of Ramlila Maidan demonstration, now number of goons must have gone up.  Any day these people can form a parallel government with the help of armed Maoist of Jungles of Bihar, Bangal and Andhra Pradesh.

It is high time that people of India stand up against these anti-democracy and anti-national elements otherwise it will be too late.
