Destruction of education system in Delhi by Kejriwal government

From the time Kejriwal promised free WiFi to rich smartphone uses I have heard B.Tech. engineers going GaGa about Kejriwal Government's achievements in terms of reducing corruptions and revolutionizing  education system. I keep receiving messages that in Delhi people have stopped sending their children to private schools and are sending them to government schools. When I looked at these messages I thought that definitely number of students in government schools must have doubled because of the great work Kejriwal is doing but as per latest numbers provided by Delhi government number of students in Delhi government schools has declined by around 4 thousand compared to 7 year old benchmark. and number of students in private schools has increased by 4.8 Lakhs. The decline compared to 4 year old benchmark before Kejriwal Government is not provided because that would have worse. These numbers can open eyes of any normal person but can't open eyes of these B. Tech. people who are blinded by promise of free WiFi..

Below are news in news paper on which my comment is based:

While the number of students in private schools has risen since 2011, with 18.61 lakh students enrolled during 2018-19 session, the numbers have dipped in Delhi government and MCD schools.

In 2011-2012, the number of students enrolled in schools run and aided by Delhi government was 16.53 lakh. As of 2018-2019, the number stood at 16.48 lakh.

Drop in Delhi govt school enrolment because of fewer MCD schools

NEWDELHI: Explaining the reduction in enrolments to Delhi government schools between 2013-2014 and 2017-2018, the Delhi government said it could be because of mushrooming of private schools and drop in number of municipal corporation schools.

In Delhi, MCD schools hold classes for students up to class 5 after which they must seek admission in government-run or private schools. While the total number of children in MCD schools is around 44 lakh, of these only 34% are enrolled in Delhi government schools.

“Between 2011 and 2019, the number of private schools increased by 630, government run schools increased marginally (50) and MCD schools decreased by 86,” the government stated on Thursday, adding that in this time, the number of students enrolled in private schools increased by 4.8 lakh whereas students enrolled in MCD schools decreased by 2.5 lakh.

“Delhi’s government schools get its students from MCD schools. If there are fewer students there, enrolment in government schools will also go down,” a government official said.
