Yesterday
Delhi Police raided Kerala House on complain that Beef is being served in the
canteen. As per laws of Delhi production, storage, selling and consumption of
Beef is not allowed in Delhi. If Delhi Police gets a complain that law is being
violated by some influential MPs in Kerala house, it was duty of Delhi Police
to take action against people violating law and Delhi Police did the same with
full efficiency.
But
Arvind Kejriwal (chief minister of Delhi) did not like that and wanted Delhi
Police allow violation of the law by the influential. If Arvind Kejriwal think
that eating Beef should be allowed then he should amend the law instead of
asking police to ignore violation of law. Allowing Beef will create law and
order problem which will be difficult to control. What people eat is not always
personal matter but government can restrict that for example eating meat of
lion and tigers is banned in India. Is it not violation of right of freedom? If
government can ban meat of lion and tiger then why can't government ban beef?
