UP govt to waste people's money to help retired postmaster build 'mini' Taj Mahal

An 80-year-old retired postmaster, who had exhausted all his savings in building a "mini" Taj Mahal in Bulandshahr in the memory of his late wife, has got financial aid from the Uttar Pradesh government in constructing the mausoleum, in which he wishes to be buried beside his woman.

This is waste of people's money and as a tax payer of Uttar Pradesh I have serious objections to this kind of waste of public money by government.

Conduct of Faizul Hasan Quadri is totally opposite of the act of Dasrath Manjhi who build a road for people which they can use to reach city and save their life. This is positive way of remembering his wife and people using that road will remember Dashrath Manjhi's love for his wife. Faizul Hasan Quadri could have used his money in constructing a dispensary or school for children in his wife's name then his wife would have been remembered by his villagers for a long time. But instead of doing something good for his villagers he chose his selfish need to be buried in a taj mahal instead of being buried in a grave left in open where he would have to lie after his death. He wants luxury even after his death.

Unfortunately CM Akhilesh Yadav has chosen to support this selfish move on public money. Ms. Mayavati was a better CM because she built B.R. Ambedkar Super Specialty Hospital in Noida instead of wasting public money on Makbaras.
